Welcome

Hello and welcome to my website. I've created this site mainly as a networking facility and point of contact.

So don't expect a lot of fancy content as there isn't any. But if you want to find out a little bit more about me, what I do, and maybe even get in touch, then feel free to have a browse.

About Me

I trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and graduated in 2003 with a degree in stage management and technical theatre. I then went on to work at Nottingham Playhouse, firstly as a Lighting and Sound Assistant and then as Deputy Head of Lighting and Sound. My Time at the Playhouse gave me many opportunities to take on in-house sound designs and gain valuable experience working with different directors on a wide variety of shows. But as I started to take on more and more designs, as well as the odd bit of freelancing where i could fit it in, I started to realise that I couldn't pursue all the design opportunities that arose due to work commitments. So in October 2014, after just over 11 years at the Playhouse, I decided to head out into the big wide world to become a freelance sound designer.
